Electronics is the branch of engineering and applied physics focused on the design and implementation of devices whose operation depends on the flow of electrons to the generation, transmission, reception and storage of information. Depending on the use of this information, electronics can be classified very broadly in four areas of application:
With proper theoretical and practical balance the Curriculum of Electronics Engineering looks at these areas. Additional programs in Computer Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering are offered in cooperation with other departments of the university. In addition to the pre-graduate programs, the School of Electronic Engineering offers short-term technical courses. The Electronics Department also offers graduate and post-graduate studies.
